Saturday was a good day for our family (the night wasn't so great being short and all). We spent most of the day at home working on different projects around the house, checking some things of the never-ending list of home improvements that need to be done...trust me when I say NEED! Monica had a different set of jobs to do as she was back at the Couch's ranch working until lunchtime. Shortly after that they realized that one their cows was about to have her calf - for quite some time now this has been way up on Monica's list of things to see. So, she spent the next couple of hours tucked up into a pile of hay with Mrs. Couch watching the miracle unfold. Fifteen minutes after its debut he stood up on his wobbly legs and tried to walk. Anyway, witnessing part of God's miraculous creation was Monica's special treat and tomorrow I'll tell you about Part II.
Sorry there are no pictures of the baby calf - mommy cows can be very shy/protective (AKA - dangerous)!

Oh, goody, goody, goody...another multi-part post. Who taught you how to blog anyway? JK
I win!
Does she want to see it unfold again? That's the question!=) The birthing part is Amazing, but the whole "after birth" part, not so much, with the whole eating it and all! Yuck!=)
