Another thing I need to introduce you to is NTI. We, and by that I mean mostly Matthew, have started a mission with the help of a godly board of directors. It is called Nehemiah Teams International and you can see the link to the website on the side of the blog. NTI was started with the hope of impacting missions, both locally and around the world. We lead construction teams overseas to work on several projects needed by the local missionaries. Before the trip the members go through a discipleship program and our goal is that the individuals themselves, and their churches, will become more involved in missions. Already from the teams we have led down there is a young man in the process of joining a mission board to work full time in Chile, South America, and two others who are pursuing returning to the field as well. This is something that anyone can do! Short term missions are an excellent way for many to be involved. We’ve taken both men and women and kids of all different ages. So, even if you’re not an expert with a hammer but you are interested in becoming a part of helping to reach the lost then check out the website! *(shameless plug) Here are a couple pictures of the team we took down to Camp Pirque in Chile this past November.
